1. Not self-defense, God's defense
2. Revenge - God is our defender
3. Unforgiveness - God forgives as we forgive others
4. Bitterness - We grieve the Holy Spirit when we hold bitterness; it's not worth holding on to
5. Hate - not wanting good for someone, but wanting evil for someone
6. Trust - brings down self-defense: areas in your life that you are defensive about, you aren't trusting God in. We MUST trust God.

Three things to remember:
1. God is the only one who can judge justly
2. If you chose to defend yourself, you chose to leave your spirit unguarded
3. Heaven rewards the selfless
