We cannot fight the enemy on our own in our own strength. God has given to Christians His resources by which we are able to fight against the enemy of our souls. These resources are not separate from God Himself; rather they are means of victory in God Himself. Thus, God gives Himself to us to fight well against the powers of darkness for His glory. His glory in us includes both the desire to win the victory and the power to win the victory in Christ.
